      The thing about mathematics is that the skills I use in solving equations is the exact same part of my brain that I use when I’m solving real-world problems — it really is a way of thinking.

      But to be specific, you could predict the optimum time to make a substitution in football or you could use mathematics to design faster formula 1 cars — this is actually done today as it is cheaper than designing the car in the laboratory.
