      Hi,
      Tenrecs are not good pets. Some people in the US keep hedgehog tenrecs as pets but they’re very difficult to look after. You have to be careful to monitor their temperature and to give them a healthy and varied diet. They’re small and spiky and can be a bit aggressive (so that’s no fun) and they’re also nocturnal so they’re not much fun during the day either!
      I’d say they’re better off in the wild or at a zoo where they can be properly looked after.
