Hey Uncle Bob! I felt like a new experience so I moved to Paris in 2008 after my degree. In Ireland there are lots of great Neuroscience labs, but while I was doing my degree I read a lot of the work of a scientist from France and I thought that it would be cool to study what he did. So I sent an email and he said sure join us! I applied for funding for my PhD and luckly got it. Happy with my choice too, I can speak French now and can see new films and bands, but I miss the people and the craic at home sometimes!
