• Question: would you recommend keeping on as well as biology to do micro biology?

      If you want to study microbiology then I’d say do Chemistry as well because that will make all the biochemistry parts easier. Maths is important for any science and Home Ec. might help if you’re interested in aspects of food biology.

      Heya Tori,
      I would definately recommend it, they are quite closely linked. I think if I could go back I would have picked Chemistry too, because for biological subjects its quite useful! I did Physics and it was allright but I think its less useful to me now.

      Biology is just applied chemistry so it is recommended to do both. Chemistry is applied physics and the interaction between physics and biology is a very hot topic right now. Could be where the next big advance comes out of.
